Water Storage

Now that we have our first few structures in place, we agreed that it was time to start thinking about how we could better capture rainwater. And what better place to do it than at The Big Building. With the largest tin roof structure of all our buildings, we have been able to set up a water-capture system that allows the Pamuca clan to take full advantage of the rainy season. We are hoping this is the start of a much broader water system that will include distribution to all bathroom facilities, irrigation for farming, and even the transport of clean drinking water.
